About Us

On West 3rd Street in Lewistown, Lodge #663 has been the kind of place where a Thanksgiving dinner actually feels like Thanksgiving. Reviewers don't say the food was "decent" or the room was "adequate." They say it felt like home. That distinction matters, and the lodge earns it every time doors open for a holiday meal, a family reunion, or a quiet Tuesday night at the bar.

The main banquet room stretches wide enough to seat nearly 200 guests for a reunion and still feel organized, even if the tables get cozy. A separate bar room keeps the crowd comfortable and the conversations flowing without the noise bleeding into every corner of the building. Clean restrooms, fair drink prices, and regulars who actually talk to you round out what makes this lodge click.

This is a BPOE lodge in the truest sense: Benevolent and Protective, built on service to veterans, community members in need, and the families of Mifflin County. The 4.7-star rating across 33 reviews reflects what members and guests already know. This isn't a rented ballroom with folding chairs. It's a real lodge with real people behind it.

What We Offer

Lodge #663 hosts private events including family reunions, holiday dinners, and milestone celebrations in a banquet space that comfortably accommodates large groups. The kitchen produces the kind of food guests remember, with holiday spreads that draw praise for both the entrees and the desserts.

The bar room operates as a relaxed, low-key gathering spot with fair pricing and a crowd of friendly regulars. It's the sort of place where you can catch a game, share a round, and not feel like a stranger after your second visit. The lodge also hosts community events tied to the Elks' national mission, including programs that support veterans, youth scholarship initiatives, and local charitable giving throughout Mifflin County.

Membership opens access to the full calendar of lodge events, member pricing at the bar, and the satisfaction of belonging to one of America's oldest and most active fraternal organizations. Prospective members are welcome to inquire directly through the national Elks website or by stopping in.

"Lovely place for a reunion. Main room is roomy, but got a little tight with tables, chairs, and nearly 200 people. A nice bar in a separate room, and the restrooms are clean, and nicely appointed. There are 2 stairways at the entrance, but I believe a rear entrance to the main room with the stage may be handicapped accessible."

Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
